How do I clean my CakeSafe?
Handwash all parts in warm, soapy water. Skip the anti-bacterial soap — it can leave a cloudy residue on the acrylic. Do not put any parts in the dishwasher.
How do I use my CakeSafe safely?
Three rules to protect your investment:
- Lift from the bottom only — never from the sides or top.
- Never move a partially assembled CakeSafe. This can bend or break the corner rods.
- Don't over-tighten the corner rods, especially before the top is on. Signs you've over-tightened: the rod tip pokes through the bottom of the base by more than a small amount, or you feel heavy resistance while screwing it in.
