The patent-pending CakeSafe-LITE takes inspiration from the original CakeSafe Box, but with a
cost-effective twist—its sturdy double-layered construction is made of corrugated cardboard,
keeping your cake cool, stable, and protected. Its interior dimensions are 14 inches wide by 13
inches tall.

Do I Have To Assemble My Cakes Differently?
CakeSafe-LITE is designed to work seamlessly with most bakers’ existing cake assembly method. There’s usually no need to alter your process—just follow these simple guidelines for the best results:
For tiered cakes, use cardboard cake rounds between each tier. Insert perimeter dowels, but don’t insert a center dowel, CakeSafe-LITE’s patented center rod will handle that job. Ensure your cake drum/base is 1/2 inch thick or less and made of cardboard or foam-core. For single tier or lightweight cakes we recommend a 1/4 inch cake drum or one of our CakeSafe compatible acrylic bases. That’s it! CakeSafe-LITE comes with detailed instructions to make your cake transportation effortless.
What Size Cake Can I Deliver?
The CakeSafe-LITE comes in one size only. See our original CakeSafe Boxes for a choice of 11 different sizes. With a CakeSafe-LITE you can deliver a cake with a 14 inch or smaller cake drum/base. The base does not need to fill the entire box. The total height of your cake must be 13 inches or shorter including the base.

Cleaning: If there are any spots of buttercream on the inside or outside, you can wipe them
away. The foam pad can be washed with warm water and mild soap to keep it fresh. The center
dowel can also be cleaned with soap and water, but for the best hygiene, we recommend using a
new center dowel for each delivery.
