Every comb is cut from 1/8 inch clear acrylic and stands 8 inches tall, so it works on tiers up to 8 inches high. The clear material lets you watch your stripes and texture form as you go.

How do you use a cake comb on buttercream?

Chill your iced cake for at least an hour, then let it sit out for about 15 minutes before combing. Use very light pressure and make several passes, and soak the comb in warm water (and dry it off) for the final passes to get the crispest lines.
